A 100 % healthy person has to be both physically and mentally fit.
For physical fitness we perform number of exercises,we go to gym,we go for swimming,we play different games, we practise running etc and we make our physical body well developed ,beautiful and completely fit.we make it strong and free from diseases.
Then what about mental fitness.
How to make our mind fit,healthy and empowered.
Before keeping anything in right condition it is very important to know it's present situatuion.Then only we can get it repaired.
So here firstly we have to estimate the present situation of the mind.
For this you have to perform a very simple exercise and that exercise is getting close to the mind and observing the mind.
Observing the mind is not a big deal.It is very simple.
As if you observe physical appearance of any person some thing like what type of dress he is wearing, how is the hair style etc.
In the same way you have to observe your mind by remaining in silence for some time.
You have to observe what thoughts are going on in the mind,where is the mind roming etc.
Very consciously read the thoughts which are going on in the mind.
Attend every thought
Identify every thought
Then very consciously sort out the thoughts .
Remember that we are doing all these things for the sake of improvement of our health .
After sorting the thoughts then catch the thoughts which are not necessary at that particular time.
Then you have to give very clear instructions to the mind." no unnecessary thoughts "
We will see that the same thoughts will pop up again.
Once again say no to those thoughts.
After a series of attempts mind listens you.
But that is wrong.we have not trained the mind.
Just train the mind in this root and observe the magic .
During the above exercise when we look at the thoughts.The thoughts will slow down.
Then we feel highly peaceful and relaxed .This type of exercise can be done when ever you feel thoughts are accumulated in the Mind and making you stressed .
That means relaxation and peacefullness can be achieved very easily just by stopping for a while looking at the thoughts in the mind.
Its very simple and takes only couple of minutes
Here the main point to remember is if you ignore the mind ,the mind will go on its own way not only going it runs in all directions in the zigzag way
